Getting God’s Fatherhood right matters more than it might seem, this sermon argues, insisting God the Father is a person, not an impersonal force behind the universe. Believers follow after Christ’s own Sonship, not a generic religious concept of divine parentage. Being children of God, on these terms, is a specific, personal relationship, not a metaphor for cosmic belonging.
